Jan Polgieter

A really nice example of a classic lockback.  Handmade in by South African Knifemakers Guild member Jan Polgieter in 1989.  12C27 steel with nickel silver bolsters and Buffalo horn scales. Unsharpened original edge, very fine hand rubbed finish and a nice piece of buffalo bark (as this is a natural material there is some slight crazing on the horn)

Blackjack Knives

Chris Reeves

A real dream piece for the Chris Reeve collectors out there.  A MK VI with a blue coating which is very rare.  I have spoken with Anne Reeve and have a copy of the Emails in which she states that this colour was used as an experiment and although there are no exact details as to how many were made in this colour it was only a small handful.

Gil Hibben

Not your usual United Cutlery offering but an original hand forged 1960's knife made by the man himself in Manti Utah.  Most of the knives of this period were forged 440c.  Comes in a leather sheath and has never been used, it is an as found condition which is good but unpolished.

Smith and Wesson

A Smith and Wesson hollow handle survival knife. No longer made, forged 440C and on many of the examples you will find today the wood has split on the handle, this is in mint condition with box.

Another simple and elegant design by R W Loveless this little lockback is boxed and in unsharpened condition.  Looks to have been carried in it's belt pouch for a while but never used.
